Living on the Alsea River

Fishing the rivers along the Oregon coast stirs up quite a debate as to which river is the best.  Alsea or Siletz?  Every fisherman has their opinion and some fish both.  It also depends on if you know where the great fishing holes are, if your boat is in the water and ready to go right off the dock or if you have to launch the boat at a public boat ramp

What could be the best of all worlds?  Have a fishing cabin with a dock and fish cleaning station and a spot that should you desire, you can launch the boat from your own property.  The fishing cabin you should see is located at 8810 E. Alsea on Little Albany Road about 8 miles up the Alsea Highway from Waldport is the perfect place for that.  There is an oversized garage, perfect for storing the boat and riding lawn mower which  you’ll need because the cabin  is  on 1.1 acres.   The tree lined river bank with  park like lawn is perfect for pitching tents and/or putting a motor home for overflow company.  There is even a sewer clean out for the Motor Home.

The cabin has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, center island in the kitchen, modern appliances and beautiful wood floors.    The open floor plan has plenty of room for a couple sofa beds for fishing buddies.    One of the full baths is in the garage so you can come back from a day of fishing, clean up and change clothes before entering the house.  The living room has a wall of windows where you can relax and watch the fishing boats drift by or enjoy the fresh air on the deck.

This charming cabin is for sale and you can find it at:
