I went to the mailbox the other day and was delighted to find a Love Letter from my son, Tyler. He lives in New York City and although calling and emailing is easy, he sent a nice thank you note. It was our 30th anniversary and his note card congratulated us and he expressed his appreciation, gratitude, and love for his father and me. He also thanked us for always supporting him and for providing him many opportunities.
My heart melted as I passed the recycle bin because this card is to be saved and cherished. Perhaps more love letters would take the drudgery out of sorting through junk mail and bills.
